Disaster Recovery

Our facility houses a stationary freeze-drying chamber capable of safely extracting moisture from delicate materials through sublimation. This method is particularly effective for halting mold growth, minimizing distortion, and preserving the structural integrity of items such as books, documents, and textiles.

While our freeze-drying chamber is not mobile, CPR is equipped to assist in coordinating the safe transport of affected materials to our facility. We provide condition assessments, emergency triage, and treatment recommendations to guide clients through the recovery process with minimal loss and maximum care.

Cultural Preservation & Restoration offers conservation-focused disaster recovery services for cultural institutions, museums, and private collections affected by water, fire, or environmental emergencies. Our team specializes in the stabilization and treatment of damaged materials, with particular expertise in water-damaged paper, books, and organic objects.
