Samuel F. Dupont Memorial, Wilmington DE - Outdoor Monument
The Samuel F. Dupont Memorial is located in Wilmington DE. Cultural Preservataion & Restoration (CPR) provided the condition assessment, cleaned the sculputure, stabilized the patina, and reattached missing elements from the bronze.
HM Sloop DeBraak, Dover, DE - Archaeological Shipwreck
The HM Sloop DeBraak was a British ship that sank off the coast of Delaware in the late 18th century. CPR provided condition assessments and conservation treatments for many of the artifacts including fourteen cannons/carronades, hundreds of cannon balls, over a thousand grapeshot, and three anchors. These pictures show the conservation of a cannon including interior corrosion, and recovery of the wadding, powder bag, and cannonball.
Private Clients, NY and NJ - Painting Cleaning
In addition to providing conservation services to museums, state and federal agencies, and cultural resource firms, CPR also provides services to private clients. Here are several examples of oil paintings that we have conserved. These pictures show several "mid-conservation" treatment photos . You can see the dramatic difference the cleaning provides. Many of our clients have had these paintings hanging on their walls for years without proper cleaning. Some have had smoke or soot damage.
